The 2025 Urban Ag Futures Training is being offered by Abundant Life Farm, Let’s Grow Akron & The Ohio State University Summit County Extension Office and is designed to help you begin the agricultural career of your dreams!

12 individuals will be selected for this in-depth hands-on class and will receive a learning stipend of $40 per class up to $800 paid on completion of training. Classes will be on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 pm weekly beginning January 15th 2025 and Ending May 14th.

Additionally, students will be able to apply for a paid summer internship following the program. The course will feature a combination of hands-on classroom learning paired with field trips to see what we are learning in action.
